National Good Grief Day

Published by kristy at 5:52 pm under Parenting Edit This

Today is National Good Grief Day in honor of Charles M. Schultz’s Birthday. In honor of him and his beloved Peanuts Characters, it is National Good Grief Day.

I think that the Peanuts were my favorite characters growing up and still are now! I love Charlie Brown and all his gang. I always loved anything Snoopy and could totally identify with Linus because I, too, carried my blanket everywhere I went when I was young.

I always felt sorry for Charlie Brown. I think he was just misunderstood. He had a good heart, but no one liked him anyway.

Did you always wonder where the parents were? I did. These kids ran around and did all these things and their parents were never around!

And then, of course Lucy was just plain mean.

Happy Good Grief Day!

I always felt bad for the boy with the dirt around him …Pigpen I think his name was. He just had no luck. As for Charlie Brown, that one was too funny. I think she actually loved him though, in her own weirdly obsessed way. I agree on the parents. Course these days have you noticed Disney makes all their characters mom-less. I swear they hate moms.

Yes! That was Pigpen. And, I don’t remember the girl’s name, but they had one who had “naturally curly hair” because that was all she ever worried about! lol I remember her, because I have “naturally curly hair” and I hate mine! LOL
I never thought about it, but you are right, most the Disney shows don’t have moms!
